The Plan
Every year Britt heads off somewhere sunny with her closest friends, and Maxi does the same with his.
Those trips are one of the highlights of our year, so this year we want to combine them and take everyone together. Come celebrate with us.
Will you come?
Quick note before you say yes: the trip runs the full four nights in Crete, from the 17th to the 21st of September 2027. Think group holiday with your favourite people, not a typical destination wedding.

A Few Practical Things
Good to Know
So you can say yes with everything in view.
- What should I expect?
- There is a programme, some of it wedding themed, but most of it is just the kind of things you would do on any good holiday together. Expect a relaxed pace with plenty of free time too. And since we are sharing one villa rather than checking into a hotel, we will all pitch in a bit. Making breakfast, putting lunch together, keeping the kitchen in reasonable shape.
- Where are we all staying?
- All of us under one roof, in a villa with plenty to keep us busy: a big pool, a volleyball net, a basketball hoop, table tennis, a BBQ and an outdoor kitchen. No hotel corridors, no splitting up across different places, just one house with everyone in it. We are sorting the rooms, so you do not need to book anything yourself. Just turn up with a swimsuit.
- What's covered, and what's not?
- Think sponsored holiday, not an all inclusive resort and not a typical wedding where everything is laid on. Food and drinks at the villa are on us, along with your airport transfer and most of what we do together. When we head out, we will cover the basics, so the odd cocktail may land on you. Your flights are the one thing to book yourself, and if there is something you cannot live without, a quick supermarket run sorts it.
- What are the dates, and can I come early?
- The main event runs from the 17th to the 21st of September 2027, four nights, and that’s the part we’d love you there for from start to finish. We also have the villa from the 16th, so if you fancy arriving early, any time from 15:00 on the 16th, to help us set up and settle in, you’re very welcome. Just know there’s no organised programme or dinner that evening, it’s purely optional. And if you want to turn it into a longer trip with a few extra days before or after, go for it. We might do the same.
- How do I get there?
- Fly into either of Crete’s two main airports, Chania or Heraklion, both around an hour from the villa. Book whichever suits you best, and once we know your flights, we’ll sort transfers from either airport so you don’t need to worry about getting there.
